Fire Risk Assessments
As the Responsible Person, as defined in Article 3 of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (e.g. as an employer), and/or being the person having control, to any extent, of the premises requires that a Fire Risk Assessment be carried out.
A fire risk assessment is an essential part of the risk management process and is legally required to be carried out in all workplaces and must be kept up to date. It identifies potential hazards and includes an Action Plan, which sets out the measures it is considered necessary for you to take to satisfy the requirements of the Fire Safety Order and to protect relevant persons from fire.
